Jane Marshall is the creator of StickFiggy, a simple, whimsical stick-figure character that has become central to both her website, which launched in January 2009, and a book series she is in the process of developing.

Since launching StickFiggy.com, her truly unique illustrations and story-like drawings of StickFiggy engaged in a variety of activities, have found a strong online audience of both children and adults.

As a result of his versatility, Marshall says StickFiggy has already appeared on a variety of custom products such as private-label promotional items for a women's golf tournament, and tee-shirts for the University of Southern California's Trojans golf team. So, she says, it's entirely possible that one day he'll be appearing on a children's clothing, toy or lifestyle product line.

In the meantime, Marshall is engaging her colleagues in Startup Sisters to brainstorm concepts and think outside the box for ongoing development of both the StickFiggy brand and product opportunities.
