Sharon Murakosi is licensed to practice law in Washington and Hawaii. Her main practice is located in Washington, however she has strong ties to Hawaii and can help you if you have a need for legal representation there. Murakoshi was born and raised in Hawaii and graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she was a Marketing & Corporate Communications Officer for City Bank of Honolulu in Hawaii for five years. Then, she attended Willamette University College of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate degree. She moved to Washington State after law school.

Her interests have always been in the legalities related to starting, growing and managing businesses, and the perspective that she brings to clients is of an entrepreneur. "I'm an entrepenuer at heart, owning both Murakoshi Law, PLLC as well as taking on other various business ventures," she says. "I have the same questions, concerns and issues that you would have in running your business and I understand that building a business is difficult, time consuming and a huge concern in your life."

Murakoshi says that starting a business is like building a 30-story high rise. In order for that tall building to stand firm, it must have a very strong and sturdy foundation. That foundation for your business is making sure you have legal counsel, accounting professionals, as well as other resources available to you to make sure that your business has a solid legal and financial foundation for growth.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, Hawaii State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Asian Bar Association of Washington, and Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. Murakoshi also has or currently serves on boards and committees of the Eastside Business Association, and the Bellevue Kiwanis, and contributes her talents to a variety of other organizations.
