Nadine Krefetz has worked as an independent consultant in new media for 20 years. She lives in Vancouver, Canada, and helps clients plan and manage digital media projects using the latest interactive and streaming media technologies.
Originally from New York City, Nadine has provided strategic management for a number of training and marketing clients across North America, and is considering a move to Seattle, Wash., where she travels frequently on business.
She has represented organizations across North America whose businesses are in a variety of industries as diverse as technology and government agencies.
She previously worked in corporate communications as a writer, and like most writers, is considering writing an e-book. <g>
Her friends will tell you she has an uncanny ability to find the one or two things, which will not work in a technology product or service. Some call this a skill, others say it’s a sign she should spend more time away from digital devices. Her noncomputer time involves Nordic skate skiing, bicycling and spending time with her husband.
Another occasional passion is identifying affordable methods for using technology products and services in nonprofits. She usually works on one or two projects a year in this area. One of her recent nonprofit projects was the development of a podcast series on business training for social enterprises. Nadine also recently completed the redesign of a health-care web portal.
